The RISD Grad Show site for the Rhode Island School of Design's annual graduate thesis exhibition is a joyfully experimental piece of type-driven design. Set in a single fiery red on white, the words RISD GRAD SHOW are stamped, tiled, mirrored and warped into wobbling, spiky letterforms that fill the screen like an ever-shifting poster. Departments and dates weave through the composition at every angle, turning navigation itself into a graphic playground. It is bold, unafraid typography and inventive art direction that perfectly captures the energy of a graduating class. A memorable, rule-breaking example of experimental web design.
