Monsieur Caillou

Under the moniker Monsieur Caillou, Pierre Nguyen presents a portfolio steeped in cinematic atmosphere. Oversized condensed letters in a warm stone tone spell out project names across the screen, layered over a grainy, near-black photograph so the type and image seem to breathe together. The near-monochrome palette and generous negative space give the whole site a hushed, editorial gravity, with a quiet "Scroll to navigate" cue inviting exploration. It is confident typography and moody art direction working in perfect step, a striking piece of portfolio web design.
