Midori Japan Paper

Yota Shiraishi brings a serene, distinctly Japanese sensibility to this site for MD Paper Products. A quiet hero of a hand writing with a fountain pen sets the tone, celebrating the simple pleasure of putting ink to paper, while a fine vertical line threads the scroll together like a stitched notebook. Clean product photography and restrained type introduce the MD Notebook lineup with understated elegance. See it in full at midori-japan.co.jp. It is a lovely example of minimalist web design guided by careful art direction.
