Matt Thompson Design Co. announces a studio rename with real swagger, layering bold condensed display type — “Sturdy Mfg Co. is now Matt Thompson Design Co.” — over a close-up of a richly patterned athletic jersey in navy, cream, teal and gold. The mix of chunky uppercase lettering and looping script nods to vintage sportswear and team branding, while a neat MT monogram sits up in the nav. Matt Thompson delivers a punchy, photography-driven hero full of personality. It is a memorable piece of web design that wears its typography on its sleeve.
