Created by PLUS-D Inc, this DAIV feature profiles photographer Takashi Yasui and the role a creative PC plays in his everyday life. The layout weaves a warm photographic grid, a sunset shot of Tokyo Tower propped beside a camera and clock, a portrait of Yasui at work, a printed photo book and gleaming hardware, into a cohesive lifestyle story. Rich, low-key lighting, a vertical Japanese pull-quote and softly ghosted LIFE with DAIV typography give the page an intimate, editorial warmth. It reads less like an advertisement and more like a photo essay about a maker's daily rhythm. It is a handsome blend of photography and considered art direction.
