Artem Militonian gives Great Armenians the gravitas of a printed art book, built around luxuriant serif and didone-style italics in ivory and gold on deep black. Swashed display type spells out lines like “Armenians who changed the world,” while a classical oil painting nestled inside an arch adds a museum-like reverence to the tribute. The warm gold accents and generous, theatrical typesetting give this non-commercial project a genuinely elegant, editorial atmosphere. Little notes reveal it was assembled in Readymag without code, which makes the refinement all the more impressive. It is a graceful showcase of typography and editorial web design.
