Platoon took an unglamorous brief — industrial plastics manufacturing equipment — and turned it into a surprisingly refined piece of web design. A crisp white canvas, anchored by a slim crimson gradient bar down the left edge, keeps the focus on a single hero product shot and one clear line of copy: “We provide high-end plastics manufacturing equipment throughout the southeast.” The restrained sans-serif type, roomy spacing and neatly ordered footer of partners and contact details give the Fordham Plastics site a confident, premium feel rarely seen in the sector. It is a smart reminder that thoughtful UI design can elevate even the most technical of businesses.
