Designed by Lorenzo Bocchi & Fabio Carretti, the website for tattoo studio DaInk wraps its work in moody, cinematic darkness. A near-black canvas with a slash of red lets hyper-realistic black-and-grey tattoo photography take centre stage, arranged in a rich masonry gallery of lions, gorillas, skulls and portraits. Subtle filtering by style, type and position hints at a considered, gallery-like browsing experience, while oversized ghosted lettering adds depth behind the grid. The result is atmospheric, immersive web design with confident art direction that treats each tattoo as a work of art.
