Bruno Cirilo, a creative director from Portugal, keeps his portfolio wonderfully focused on type. The homepage of the Bruno Cirilo portfolio presents “Creative Director ©2004” in huge, elegant serif letters on a warm off-white background. Small vertical labels run along the edges, reading “Made in Portugal” and “Welcome to Bruno Cirilo portfolio”, framing the composition like a printed page. The contrast between the oversized headline and the tiny details gives the design a calm, confident and editorial feel. It is a lovely reminder that great typography alone can make a memorable piece of web design.
