Sam George keeps his portfolio refreshingly simple, filling the screen with a wash of muted sage green and a single, oversized statement set in bold black sans-serif. The copy doubles as the hero — “Driven and inspired by simple & bold aesthetics” — introducing a designer originally from Lisbon and now based in London. With only a minimal “Sam George” and “info” anchoring the top corners, the layout trusts scale and restraint to carry the whole first impression. It is a confident demonstration of how far strong typography and a considered colour choice can go on their own. The result is calm, self-assured web design that says a great deal with very little.
