Achos!
July 31, 2018
Mindsparkle Mag
Built by Achos!, the portfolio of illustrator Mariano Pascual is a joyful love letter to the vintage desktop computer. The whole site is staged as a retro operating system — a sunny yellow menu bar, a graph-paper wallpaper and draggable windows that open to reveal folders of projects with names like Geometric Poetry and La Guerra. A quirky dock of hand-drawn icons lines the foot of the screen, while a vivid poster illustration bursts out of one floating window. It is a wonderfully inventive marriage of interactive design and illustration. Play around with it at marianopascual.me.
