Maksim Yatsenko is a web, UX and identity designer based in Kharkiv, and his portfolio makes that maximalist ethos immediate. A colossal light-grey wordmark reading “Maksim” stretches edge to edge across a moody black-and-white portrait, while a row of rounded pill buttons keeps the navigation calm and confident. The near-monochrome palette and generous negative space let the oversized typography carry the whole composition, softened by the italic line “Maksim — like maximum. Maximum — in everything.” It is a poised, self-assured piece of web design that turns the designer’s own name into the hero graphic.
