Liferay Design turned their 2021 annual report into a quietly cinematic digital experience. The opening screen floats a soft radial glow of deep blue against a near-black field speckled with star-like points of light. A spaced monospaced LIFERAY.DESIGN label sits above an elegant italic Annual Report title, with a slender downward arrow gently coaxing you to scroll. The result is calm, cosmic and editorial, trading corporate stiffness for genuine atmosphere. It is a lovely example of editorial web design that treats a report as a story worth exploring.
