Artificial intelligence is changing what companies expect from the place their data lives, and Everpure wanted a campaign that could explain that shift in seconds. Working with Bloomberg Media Studios, Turin-based studio illo created an abstract visual system exploring how AI is reshaping data storage. The work spans four 30-second hero films for Bloomberg TV and around 100 additional exports, translating the complexity of cloud and AI into one cohesive campaign.
Abstraction was the studio's way of making big ideas readable at a glance. A recurring cast of shapes runs through the films, each standing for a single idea: a black monolith for legacy infrastructure, physical and stacked like server racks, which flattens into a single plane once Everpure enters the story. Vertical colour gradients represent AI, shifting and recombining as each film develops, while small rectangles stand in for the data itself.

The palette comes from Everpure's own brand colours and was chosen to work on both light and dark backgrounds. That flexibility lets the same gradients glow against black in one scene and sit softly on cream in the next, so the contrast holds in every scene and every format. Short typographic loops such as "Possibility" and "Profitability" show how the stepped, pixel-like gradient can also carry a single word.

Each of the first three films takes on a different question. The first asks whether data is ready for AI, the second looks at how much always-on agents depend on the data feeding them, and the third shows how a platform that keeps adapting makes infrastructure spending predictable. Loading bars, error states and bursts of scattered data give each argument a simple visual beat that viewers can follow within seconds.

Beyond the hero films, the system had to stretch across roughly 100 further exports in different aspect ratios. Mockups show the animations on Bloomberg's site, on desktop screens and on a phone held in the hand, alongside data points such as a 58% saving on storage costs. Portrait and square cuts keep the same shapes and gradients intact, so the campaign stays recognisable wherever it appears.
