The rebranding for Mutual Attraction was designed by Radim Malinic from Brand Nu, featuring 3D models by Craig Minchington. Mutual Attraction is a London-based dating agency and matchmaking service that focuses on meeting people face to face, in the flesh, and stepping away from the screen. The new modern and playful brand identity has a soft aesthetic with a colour palette of complementary pastel shades paired with neutral golden brown text. The logo design makes subtle reference to couples and matchmaking, with a circular design divided in half and filled in contrasting colours. The ‘opposites attract’ aesthetic is carried across the logotype, as the two words are displayed in opposite styles – lowercase and uppercase, and serif and sans-serif. The 3D imagery by Minchington makes reference to everyday familiar objects that depict activities and interests – such as films, art and dining – that could be shared between couples.
