Helbers brand identity
Helbers is the eponymous menswear label from the former Head of Menswear at Maison Margiela and ex Menswear Director at Louis Vuitton, Paul Helbers. The curated collection operates between fashion fantasy and lifestyle reality. Each piece offers a feeling of unpolished elegance underlined by a subtle clash of contrasting fabrics. Only were approached by Paul to create a brand identity for his label. The studio worked with Paul to distil his brand into a harmonious identity. The Helbers wordmark set in a bespoke version of Meta Serif balances the two contrasting worlds of the contemporary the antiquarian. Natural textures and quality materials are used throughout to capture the notion of care, craftsmanship and utility. An absence of ostentatious elements serves to formulate an unprecious sense of appearance. Helbers won early acclaim for his AW16 collection and fans from buyers at Barneys, Mr. Porter and Matches Fashion. Helbers renewed his relationship with Only for his SS17 collection as the label continued to build a following. Helbers is due to appear in stores around the world in the coming weeks and months.
