Theme Designers uses this pitch site to show off its own aesthetic range, and the mood here is moody and refined. Against a deep black backdrop, a graceful high-contrast serif spells out “Design Inspiration”, its swashes and ligatures adding a couture flourish, while a rotating circular badge reads “Inspiration for the love of design.” A single image — a portrait adorned with butterflies — begins to emerge from the lower edge, hinting at the scrolling storytelling to come. The pairing of dramatic negative space and expressive type gives the concept a boutique, editorial feel. It is a polished demonstration of how far considered typography can carry a piece of web design.
