Jovan Lakic brings a wry sense of humour to the homepage for [Studio] General Condition. A high-contrast split pairs a black panel — declaring “Yes, we are a design studio!” in a warm off-white grotesque — with a classical old-master group portrait on the right. The witty caption, “Our team looking forward to working on Saturday”, and a footnote joking about creating digital experiences “since 1814” set an unmistakably self-aware tone. Clean, confident typography and generous space keep the joke elegant rather than gimmicky. See it at generalcondition.com, a smart marriage of playful art direction and crisp web design.
