Herdl created this charming, story-driven site that takes visitors on a journey Inside the Mind of Samuel Day. Against a soft coral backdrop, a flat character illustration shows a figure lifting a smiling mask from their own head to reveal a hypnotic spiral where the brain should be — a witty visual metaphor for creativity and self-reflection. Elegant high-contrast display lettering spells out the designer's name in a graceful, fashion-editorial style that plays beautifully against the simplicity of the drawing. The pairing of expressive character design and refined illustration gives the project a personality that is both approachable and polished. It is a delightful piece of web design that makes an about-page feel like an invitation.
