Corentin Bernadou, a French independent designer and developer based in Bordeaux, created Folio No.01 as a portfolio that lets typography do all the talking. The homepage opens with a towering, high-contrast display serif set in capitals, its elegant curves filling the screen with the line “Corentin is a designer and developer”. A soft blush background keeps the mood warm and refined, while a compact uppercase sans-serif paragraph below introduces him as a minimal and clean design addict. The contrast between the delicate serif headline and the tight grotesk text is beautifully balanced. It is a stylish, confident folio that shows how much character a strong typography choice can bring to web design.
