Built on Semplice, this portfolio for New York- and Tokyo-based designer Ayaka B. Ito is a study in restraint and refinement. A soft powder-blue backdrop frames a painterly still-life – a blooming peony, a perfume bottle, a delicate heel – that immediately signals her world of art, lifestyle, fashion and beauty. Elegant serif typography, punctuated with graceful italics, introduces her practice across brand identities, editorial design, typefaces and illustrations. The result is a quietly luxurious showcase where illustration and considered type design take centre stage.
