Antinomy gives musician Alicia Keys a bold, magazine-cover presence on her official site. A full-bleed side-profile portrait — hair swept into a sleek bun, a glowing “Queen” bamboo hoop and layered gold chains catching the light — sits beneath an enormous white “ALICIA KEYS” wordmark that stretches the entire width of the screen. Against the soft grey studio backdrop, a quiet “LA LA — Listen Now” prompt and a small “Index” button are all the interface needs. The scale of the type against the intimacy of the photograph creates a striking, confident piece of art direction. It is powerful, editorial web design where oversized typography and a single strong image say everything.
