FEW magazine was created by Tino Nyman & Marina Veziko. FEW is a magazine focusing on the most discriminated minorities in Finland. It acts as a peephole into the community through the eyes of different individuals. The aim is to create a space for the minorities to tell their stories; not to state any absolute truths, but to offer diverse perspectives.
The first issue is about Roma people, who the mainstream media tends to present in a very one-sided and tiresome way. FEW wants to shake that up a bit by presenting the beauty of Roma culture in a warm and respectable tone of voice that is also a bit tongue-in-cheek.
