Viva Brand identity

illo is excited to introduce Viva, an app dedicated to enhancing women’s wellbeing in South America! The studio created a vibrant and inspiring brand identity, including a new logo, comprehensive app and website design, and a suite of illustration and motion design elements. A standout feature of this project was the development of a cutting-edge generative illustration system in Figma, resulting in over 2000 unique session wallpapers.

Their creative approach embraces organic shapes, vivid colors, and subtle gradients to promote an inclusive and nurturing environment, encouraging the success of the users. From crafting brand guidelines to developing captivating motion graphics, illos comprehensive branding services ensure Viva’s brand development journey is seamless and impactful.

With over 25 program illustrations and 200+ unique course illustrations, illo curated a captivating visual experience for both the app and the website. They crafted icons and tabs for seamless navigation, and designed the UI to invite users to embrace their journey and celebrate their achievements. The concepts they had to illustrate ranged from Anxiety and Intermittent Fasting to Financial Literacy. To convey these ideas clearly, they adopted a dynamic style, emphasizing key aspects of each subject mixed with gradients, lines, and sparkles to give dynamism to the visuals, reflecting the importance and the power of this concept.

The level of detail follows the hierarchy of the elements from the highly detailed Programs illustrations, and the tone-on-tone palette of the Courses to the complete abstraction of the Sessions, using only three shapes created through a custom Figma Plugin.
In fact, they engineered a generative design system to create a unique illustration for each of the apps built-in audio sessions. Through their custom, internally-developed Figma plugin, each illustration combines three shape groups line-based, simple, and complex creating dynamic combinations in three different ratios, esureing seamless integration cross various platforms, from mobile to desktop, and provides optimal display for thumbnails.

The identity is built on dynamic shapes, guiding users through a journey of progress and representing empowerment and celebration, expressed through vibrant colors and powerful graphical elements. With the sleek Euclid Circular B font by Swiss Typefaces, illo bring a modern touch to the design, incorporating rigorous geometry to complement the expressiveness of the illustrations. The color palette is a celebration of vitality and joy, carefully curated for readability and for an optimal user experience. They wanted the Viva logo to embody forward momentum a continuous line symbolizing confidence and progress.
