For today’s first project, we suggest you play Know your worth by Khalid, as this branding has tons to do with that. A couple of weeks ago, we came up with Top 10: Fashion branding. Back in theme, we’re showcasing Valha’s visual identity. Its branding was in charge of Minoru ‘Kisho’ Higa. The self-worth of looking good is what most identifies the brand with; they want us to own our outfits and conquer the world.
Based in Lima, Valha Basic Apparel is a brand whose style consists of timelessness and versatile garments combinations. One of the brand’s goals was to increase its reach among the young. So, Kisho designed a brand new graphic system that communicates Valha’s youthful-timeless-glam territory.
Under a young and contemporary tone, Valha carries a message of freedom to those who seek to show themselves without fear. Above all, to seek to externalize once again the essence and significance of living comfortably and feeling good.
Fashion has always revolved around black and white. And for Valha brand, there’s no exception. Designers chose the most contrasting colors from graphic design. For the stickers, the color palette acquires a color accent representing phrases that communicate the attributes, spirit of the brand, and product.
