Oslo-based design studio, Permafrost, crafted a range of minimalist and modern wooden toys. Simple, yet distinctive in design, their products embody the much-loved clean Nordic aesthetic and make beautiful home ornaments.

The/u00a0100 RACER/u00a0wooden toy car had/u00a0been/u00a0exhibited/u00a0at 100SERIE, an/u00a0invitational project/u00a0that looks/u00a0into the process of shaping and manufacturing modern, mass-produced consumer goods. The/u00a0racecar/u00a0is/u00a0described as a tribute to modern car manufacturing: Neither futuristic nor retro, the/u00a0100 RACER/u00a0is inspired by the rational simplicity of an aerodynamic race car.

The ARCHIPELAGO set, designed for the 10th anniversary of the 100% Norway exhibition in 2013, includes lighthouses and small homes/u00a0atop small wooden/u00a0domes, representing/u00a0archipelagos.
