Double E is a portable battery charging concept created by industrial designer Zheming Zhou. Double E, a combination of a portable battery and a mini power generator, is designed for both outdoor camping and the indoor office environment.
The environmentally-conscious battery creates electricity via kinetic energy. As well as being practical, its creator suggests that it can also add an element of fun as an office gadget.
Resembling a large AA battery, the design is inspired by simplicity with a hint of vintage appeal. Subtle details such as diagonal embossed stripes and matte scratched steel around the top gives the device a sleek and modern feel.
