Crown Creative designed Smyth Sisters. Primarily known for her distinguishable mirror style outfit photographs, Marianne graduated with a degree in Fine & Applied Art. Having worked as a professional photographer for many years she recently transitioned into content creation full time. Marianne has worked alongside brands such as Marks & Spencer, Astrid & Miyu, Topshop and &Other Stories.
Taking inspiration from Marianne’s distinctive style and her desire to mix classic fashion pieces with new items, Crown Creative strove to do something similar. Combining a traditional serif with a clean and functional Swiss sans serif. The distinct and unique contrast effortlessly brings old and new together. The result? A beautiful, contemporary brand - full of richness and character.
Colors used were stripped back to reflect Marianne’s personal minimal, Nordic and Scandi visual aesthetic. Soft, muted neutral shades like white, grey, nude & black allow SmythSisters content to take center stage.
Finally, they designed a minimalist website to act as SmythSisters’ online fashion platform - housing written content and photography ranging from fashion and beauty to lifestyle and interior design, as well as shoppable images and social integrations.
