The building, located in the historical area of Vilnius, Lithuania, close to the city center, had been used for various administrative purposes in the 20th century. Karchman converted the apartment into a state-of-the-art office, while taking into consideration the existing historical context of the building.
Karchman’s vision was to design a comfortable, upscale yet modern interior, using high-quality materials such as marble, leather, copper and wood. Given that it is an office environment, Karchman was mindful about crafting an interior aesthetic that would not distract from business and productivity.
The furnishings and colour scheme are catered to the office owner’s taste for a discreet and refined space. As a finishing touch, sculpture works by Nazar Bilyk are included to add a contemporary and inspiring feel to the office environment.
