Teaming up with CoinShares, a leader in the crypto ETP space, illo transformed intricate financial concepts into clear, compelling visuals, making crypto investment feel more intuitive and accessible.
The challenge was to develop a dynamic yet structured visual language. In addition to After Effects, the creative studio used Cavalrys parametric capabilities, which enabled the team to generate seamless oscillations and modular animations, ensuring consistency across episodes while reinforcing key financial principles.

Rooted in CoinShares brand identity, the approach combined grids, fluid storytelling, and motion metaphors to translate financial concepts into intuitive visuals, such as nested squares, symbolizing assets within a portfolio. Each episode also features a signature intro and outro motion sequencesmooth color transitions set the scene, while grid distortions reflect market shifts, creating a seamless and recognizable viewing experience.
illo is a color-based design studio focusing on motion design, illustration systems, and art direction.
