VR designed 3D Blobs

A few weeks ago Vincent Schwenk bought himself an Oculus as he was really interested in creating 3D content with Occulus Medium. Being really amazed with the intuitive use, he found some nice workflows to easy continue working with the models in Cinema 4D. His nature inspired “blobs” with non-geometric forms create beautiful abstract landscapes that almost seem to be real as if they existed somewhere in nature. We also think that the use of VR and more flexible natural forms are going to be one of the major design trends in 2018. The Blobs series is rendered with Redshift. Most of them have only one shader which is randomised with triplanar texture offset and vertext colormaps.
