Tom Ross Branding

Confetti Studio have created the personalised branding and collateral design for Australian photographer, Tom Ross.

The brand identity is intended to reflect Tom Ross’ core characteristics. According to Confetti Studio, “He’s a laid back gentleman with an honest approach to his medium. There’s no pretense and he appreciates the beauty and sincerity in awkwardness.”

Both the business card design and web design feature a rotating colour palette of bold contrasting colours paired with simple, sans-serif typography. The italicised logotype, however, stands out with its unconventional left-slanting type.

The colourful web design and no-frills layout is a deliberate contrast to the clean, white and “typographically delicate approach” typically adopted by many photographer’s websites.
