TABLO creates beautiful handmade tableware from the Czech Republic, inspired by a longstanding local tradition of porcelain and glassware production. TABLO actively collaborates with designers and has launched ‘PUBLITHINGS’ (‘published objects’) based around the concept of sharing and publishing ‘design stories’. As part of this process, the designers’ ‘handwritten and edited objects’ are carefully ‘hand printed’ by family-owned manufactures. It is this collaborative effort between the designers and themselves (the ‘publishing house’) that underlines the TABLO philosophy.
Created by Iva Tattermuschová and Jiří Novotný, TABLO sources high quality materials while maintaining a high standard of craft tradition to offer truly unique pieces.
TABLO’s range of one-of-a-kind porcelain tableware includes, among others, SRDCE, a beautiful heart-shaped bowl available in traditional white and soft pink, and CINK, a gold-plated moneybox.
Its glassware range features the crystal ONDINE set that combines elegance with practicality. The set, which includes a carafe and two stackable glasses, comes in two sizes in the Pure and Twist variants. While the Pure variant is smooth and transparent, the Twist makes use of clever ‘ribbing’ technology, in which the walls are perfectly smooth on the outside with a ribbed texture on the inside, which optically ‘disappear’ once filled with water.
TABLO has regularly partaken in meaningful collaborations with a number of renowned design brands, such as TON Design and De’Longhi to name a few. More creations from TABLO can be found on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
