For 15 years, PUPILA has been a beacon of creativity, crafting identities, organizing game-changing design events, and even venturing into specialty coffee. From designing logos for global sports teams to curating city-wide design festivals, this Costa Rican powerhouse has made an undeniable mark in the world of design. Now, as they celebrate their 15th anniversary, they’re doing it the best way they know how—by bringing together an inspiring lineup of global creatives for the PFF! PUPILA Fifteen Fiesta.
Taking place on March 7th at the Magaly Movie Theater in San Jose, Costa Rica, PFF! will be a one-day gathering of visionaries across multiple disciplines, from fashion and photography to motion graphics and product design. Expect thought-provoking talks and unique perspectives from speakers like Mauricio Cruz, whose gender-challenging fashion designs have been worn by Karol G, and Gab Bois, who turns everyday objects into surreal design pieces.
From the bold visual storytelling of Martina Matencio to the dynamic animations of Marcel Ziul, the event promises to be a melting pot of ideas that push creative boundaries. Also joining the stage are Camilo Huinca, whose bold and colorful illustration work has captivated brands like Nike and Apple, and James Kerr (Scorpion Dagger), known for blending classical paintings with modern-day humor in his animations.
Additionally, Porto Rocha will share their insight on evolving brand identities, while Anna Kulachek —the creative mind behind Strelka Institute’s iconic visual identity—will showcase her work in graphic design.
More than just an anniversary, PFF! is a testament to PUPILA’s commitment to fostering a thriving creative community—not just in Costa Rica, but globally. So whether you’re a designer, artist, or just someone who appreciates bold, thought-provoking creativity, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss. Grab your tickets at www.pupila.co/pff and be part of the fiesta!
