Another Day created a flag system that reimagines national and cultural divisions, offering a vision of unity and togetherness. The system represents universal common ground. Another Day is a New York-based art studio founded by Vicente Garcia Morillo and Eugene Serebrennikov. Their creative partnership began over a decade ago, bridging continents and languages to forge a singular artistic voice. Morillo, an award-winning artist and valedictorian of the Fine Arts University of Seville, first caught the attention of Serebrennikov, a former Nike Art Director, through his work online. Together, they left their corporate careers to co-found Burn & Broad, a design and animation studio crafting visually impactful work for brands like Nike, J. Cole, and Loewe. Another Day became their experimental space—dedicated to artistic self-expression, free from the constraints of client work.
Their latest artistic project, One World Flag, redefines the very purpose of flags—not as markers of division, but as a universal symbol of unity. This project transcends borders, celebrating the deep interconnection of everyone and everything. Manifesting as both an immersive art installation and a visually striking short film, it seamlessly weaves together live-action footage and animation. Through a fusion of textile art and cinematic storytelling,
Morillo and Serebrennikov challenge the concept of invisible borders, urging audiences to reconsider the meaning of belonging. One World Flag continues Morillo & Serebrennikov’s pursuit of art that not only connects and provokes thought but dares to imagine a world
without boundaries.
