Once again, we’re taking you to gorgeous Melbourne to showcase Both Studio‘s latest branding design for a local brand. Established in 2008 by designer Kristy Barber, Kuwaii is an alternative to mass-produced fashion with a loyal following across Australia. Each of the brand’s garments and footwear is from A to Z, designed around environmental-responsible materials and high quality.
Designed and made in Melbourne, Kuwaii was searching for a fresher identity, for which they went to one of the most recognized design studios in the city. The principal issue to solve was the visual consistency along its trade dress respecting and building on the legacy of Kuwaii. Designers subtly updated the brand’s logo to match the new design system, including a different font, a warm color palette, and an authentic pattern.
The visual identity has a warm and close feel to Kuwaii’s audience. Plus, it has a contemporary and fun approach to unifying the brand’s appearance in a unique way 🙂
All in all, we are not surprised by Both Studio’s incredible work for developing a seamless visual identity for Kuwaii and providing a complete and cohesive experience for its customers. Now, the visual language translates without bumps through digital and physical stores. Special mention to the studio’s impeccable art direction. Cheers!
