Bottega Sartoria

Pesto. Pancetta. Olives. Continuing with today’s salumeria topic, now we’re presenting Bottega Sartoria branding design by Faena Studio. Bottega is a dedicated shop created by Italian chef Marco Cabroni; it translates his crafting values from his restaurant in Sartoria into an exquisite selection of gourmet products. This is our second post related to high-quality Italian food products, and we haven’t stopped drooling.

Faena Studio, the team leading Bottega’s new identity, didn’t want to start from scratch as they valued the work and DNA created by the previous studio. Designers created a graphic system to resolve different products label needs, from spices and cheeses to dips and pasta sauces.
Using an efficient grid, the studio managed to design a spatial typographic composition allowing the text’s legibility regardless of its length or the ingredient’s amount. Creatives chose a varied Mediterranean color palette, low in saturation, giving it a vintage style. Also, their typographic choices are incredibly balanced, with a fresh but still classy aesthetic.
In this way, Bottega comes to life by offering a complete gastronomic experience from your cabinets to your mouth. And we are definitely having some cheese board today 😉

FAENA is a graphic design studio specialized in communication and branding. They materialize concepts in projects with a solid and transcendent language. Their work is distinguished by linking brands with their audience, with a unique and carefully developed aesthetic value.
And their design approach is defined by a strategic development driven by a value, anesthetic, and a deep understanding of language and communication.
