New York based photographer Jessica Antola commissioned Javas Lehn Studio to design her first monograph, Circadian Landscape. Spanning three years and seven countries, Antola’s portraits and landscapes reflect the beauty and vibrancy of everyday life in contemporary Sub-Saharan Africa. Showing the variety of ways people create and define themselves daily through dress and ritual and work and play, the book is imbued with the cyclical rhythm of the culture’s sacred, daily rituals. Circadian Landscape, honoring the hours between sunrise and sunset.
The book was printed and published by Damiani in Bologna, Italy.
