BOTCHAN

Iitaka Kent designed the branding development for “BOTCHAN,” the new men’s cosmetics brand. Evoking an unconventional lifestyle and transcending gender boundaries, the emphasis of this brand is on variety. The most important element of the brand’s design is one of “enjoying cosmetics.”

The design of the logo expresses a relaxed individuality combined with a strong commitment to quality. The colorful palette is a symbol of playfulness and the freedom of leaping over gender boundaries. The drawings on each package are inspired by the idea of briskly performing the movements of everyday skincare as though dancing to music. These have been featured on the logo, packaging and website.
