Automated Architecture, is a series A stage start-up revolutionising house building with robotics and AI, creating an automated ecosystem that enables sustainable, affordable, and beautiful homes at scale.

Challenge:
AUAR needed a strong brand identity to position themselves as innovators in sustainable, affordable housing using robotics and AI. The challenge was to highlight their unique technology while making their mission accessible and appealing to partners in the construction industry and beyond.

Approach:
Harry Stewardson and Paul Croxton from Ascend Studio worked closely with the founders to understand their goals and values, crafting a brand identity that combines their cutting-edge automation with a human, future-focused narrative. Building on our brand idea The building blocks of a better future, we crafted a vibrant brand with a human yet technical typeface, blending technology and warmth. The design system was inspired by their voxel-based software, echoing the modular nature of their architectural process.

Outcome:
The bold new messaging and identity design communicates their mission to build affordable, beautiful homes with a minimal environmental footprint. It captures both AUARs technological innovation as well as their commitment to sustainability positioning them as pioneers in rethinking the future of construction, with clear messaging that resonates across sectors; from developers to manufacturers to home owners.
