Algo.tv partnered with Aave and built a Data-viz Generator — a tool they use to create endless on-brand data visualizations for their social media, with plugged-in data sources, a live preview & an AI chatbot where you can prompt to create assets in seconds. Avara is the company behind popular web3 projects like lending protocol Aave, the Family wallet (who the studio already worked with), the stablecoin GHO and social protocol Lens.

This time they asked algo to create a ownable data viz language that puts data at the center of their communication strategy. The studio made creating content more accessible within their team by delivering a Generator, an easy to use tool that helps anyone on their team output simple, on-brand (static & animated) data visualizations for their social media channels.

Everything is based on 10 animated components designed by our team. These include Line, Bar & Pie charts, a Big Number scene, a modular Governance template (that they use to make conversations within their DAO forum more visible on socials) — and two Partnerships templates.

The Aave brand relies on using 3 shades of a same tint — and on a series of animated brand patterns, that can be swapped and combined in different ways to generate a lot of visual variations. Creating a video doesn’t require any technical skill. The left half of the app is dedicated to the live preview. When you click on an item in the preview, the right side changes to showcase the customization options for that item — like in popular design tools like Figma.

The video rendering happens in our fast & scalable serverless infra, capable of potentially generating millions of videos per day. The tool is then delivered to the client as a desktop app via Electron.
